Today, August 28th, marks my and Wendy (used to be known as mistletoe 20th wedding anniversary! I really did marry my very best friend, my lover, and my partner! We've been through a lot over the years. We're looking forward to many more!
She isn't involved in furry fandom anymore; she still likes anthropomorphic animals and animation a great deal! It turns out that one's interests don't have to overlap exactly; just be genuinely excited, happy, and supportive of and for your partner! She's been super supportive of my art over the years, and has always ever been a kind, patient, and gentle cheerleader!
She's gotten into a bunch of her own interests and groups over and years, and I'm honestly happy to support her any way I can!
We try our hardest to learn from our mistakes, to learn, to adapt, and to grow! We take a lot of joy in the little things in life! A funny little joke, a silly meme, cute animal pictures, nifty art (SO MUCH NIFTY ART ❤️), little things to make the day a little more magical!
We've overcome a ton of communication issues and relationship problems (polyamory only complicating things, but, surprisingly, everything to make polyamorous relationships work well applies to monogamous ones, too!)
So, heck, I'm thrilled I married my best friend! ❤️❤️❤️
P.S. As an afterthought, I remember one dude on my old Yahoo Hedgefox Productions Yahoo Group was all gloom and doom about getting married. "Marriage is the worst mistake you can make," and "You'll have to stop drawing porn and furries, now" and some other bullshit I honestly don't remember. LOL. LMAO. My wife and I both still very much love our smut, thank you, lol!
